  1. Do not and i repeat do not buy one of those, they throw your serve off more than anything. They make your follow through end up so when the ball comes back it doesn't hit you in the face, and that is the proper follow through. You can not become a good server or anything else by using that except for setting, i coach girls and one of them brought one to practice and i locked it up in a dumpster and gave her the money she spent on it, trust me dont...

  2. You know, to be honest I think those will throw you. I learned from just playing the game and practicing with balls and net. Don't think those will help you.

  3. All you have to do is play the game, practice with friends, or serve it by yourself. IF you practice enough you'll get a lot better.

  4. Yea i don't know if that is that good.

My reason is that when practicing a serve you need to be working on getting it over (of course) but also you need to work on picking your spots on your serve. With that you can't practice either of those because you can't tell if the ball would go over or where it would land. You might as well just practice serving the ball into a wall (which also doesn't help with anythign except ball contact)

So I would recomend that you practice on a net, that way you are practticing with in game situations so you are more comfortable in the games. That is the point of practice, to make yourself more confident in game situations so you don't need to think so you can just do it cause you have prepared..it is no different with your serve, it is a very important part of the game

Good luck with the serve, hope you get it down pat

  5. My friend has one but, like everyone else has said it is easiest to actually spike the ball like you would in a game
