Volleyball help?!?

This is our first time I know how to play but I have no clue what we should wear. All I know is that we should wear shorts a shirt and knee pads anymore stuff? I not sure If I could use my soccor knee pads are they ok? I also need tips on how to play. I'm not sure if their is anything else I should be aware of. Please tell me what I should wear and do. Also could you show me pics of the stuff I need to wear, I think I will understand better.

  1. wear spandex or soffee shorts are good. and any t-shirt will work, tall socks, knee pads, and volleyball shoes.

    dont wear running shoes because they are not mad for the turns and jumps you will be doing.

  2. wear a tight shirt or long sports bra under ur shirt and it helps to wear softball sliding short(spandex)under ur shorts and comforatable tennis shoes that tie up!!  good luck and i hope u have fun!!

  3. Wear spandex or softy shorts you can buy them at sports authority. Long socks do help a t-shirts is fine. for your soccor knee pads i dont think they will work try getting volleyball knee pads they will slide better when you dive.

  6. Volleyball Attire

    Shirts-short sleeve or sleeveless shirts should be worn. Long sleeve shirts do not allow your passes to go high enough.

    Shorts-Stretchy shorts, soffee shorts, and best of all spandex. You can find it at any sports store. They are just tight, breathable shorts that allow you to move around effectively to get the ball. They have mizuno, asics, adidas under armour, and many more. Go to d**e's Sporting Goods, Sport's Authority, or another sports store

    Knee Pads-Can be found at d**e's Sporting Goods or Sports Authority. You really should check with your coach about the knee pads, so that you can get volleyball ones if you need to. Remember, your safety is most important and knee pads are crucial in keeping you uninjured.

    Socks-Most high school teams, club team players, or just volleyball players in general wear fun, colorful, or just plain knee high socks. Go on a  website like allvolleyball.com and look at the socks. I bet you have a pair at your house you could wear =).

    Shoes-Make sure there is enough padding in you shoes! Shoes that are worn thin or worn out will cause you extreme pain when jumping and doing your approach! Shoes that are too small for you will cause extreme pain as well!
