  1. Hi everyone...I play volleball from 5 years old and now I'm 18...I know that sound crazy but it's my family sport and if you want find me in the Yahoo Messanger and tell you in long conversation.I'm wroten with the name ivilina_paleva .So I'll wait your call. Many kisses from Bulgaria.

  2. You are correct.  Your team will rotate clockwise every time you win the serve from the other team.  The server is in the right back position and will serve until the other team wins the  rally.

You win a point by winning the rally.  Everywhere uses rally scoring now.  You do not have to serve to win a point any more.  You win the rally by hitting the ball in bounds on their side of the net or by the other team making a mistake.  Types of mistakes that the team can make are hitting the ball out of bounds, not hitting the ball over the net, player hitting the net, and not hitting the ball cleanly and correctly.  These are not the only violations, but they are the main ones.

If you are asking which team serves first, they determine which team gets the serve by a coin toss before the match begins.  The teams get to decide on which side they start the match and which teams gets the first serve.

  3. To get a point, you must win your own serve., and for that to happen, the opposing team must have the ball touch the ground on their side, in which they will serve it.(in that situation)

They serve+The ball falls on their side= your ball

You don't get a point for this, but you get a serve. When you serve, and you get the ball on their side and it falls, then you get a point.

  4. ok

one thing is it depends on how your coach plays it.

    Some coachs play differently.

The rules are when you serve the ball has to make it over the net and in bonds.

ALso when you come up to hit or block you cannot hit the net.

    those are the main ones.

Yes, you do move clockwise. To win a point you have to get the ball over the net obviously, and you just volley it back and forth intill either someone hits the ball out of balance, the ball hits the ground before you play it, or the other team is out of order.

TO determine the server..uhh i am not forsure on that one. If you can hit aces a lot then you usually are one of the main servers.

  5. there are many different offenses that coaches will run. the most commonly used is a 6-2. in this case there are three people int he back row, and three people in the front. 2 setters are ont he court at all time, one in back row who is not playing setter at the moment, and another in the front row who is playing setter. anytime you sideout [or get a point] you move clockwise. Many high schools/colleges do use a different offense/defense that is more complicated but the 6-2 is the simplest of them all.
