  1. I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM BUT WHAT I DID WAS I THREW THE BALL ON THE ROOF AND WHEN IT CAME DOWN I BUMPED IT AND WHEN IT WAS AT AN ANGLE AND DIVED IN FOR IT.IT REALLY HELPED BUT WHEN U THROW THE BALL DONT THROW IT TO HARD OR IT WILL GO TO UR BACKYARD LOL HOPE I HELPED =D

  2. bouce the on the ground as hard as you can continuoulsy(misspelled??),

  3. for spiking throw the ball up i the air then slap the ball as hard as you can on the ground..do these alot times

for serving get in a large area and serve the ball like you would do in a game of volleyball and run/walk to get the ball then serve it again

  4. uhmm, thats kinda hard .

but this is what i can think of .

go outside and find a fairly large space ...

throw it in the air, and keep hitting it at different angles .

    you know,forward,backwards,sideways ...

other than that, bump and set it to yourself .

ask someone in your neighborhood to practice with you .

ask one of your friends, your siblings, or your mom even, lol .

well hope this helped some !

  5. Push-ups help to build your arm strength. When our team does a drill wrong we have to do push-ups but it helps out your arms. Pounding the ball against the ground is your best option. Make sure you work on your footwork for hitting too because that is really important.

  6. Ok this summer i had no one to practice with. There really isnt much to do by yourself if you dont have a net, wall, someone, etc....so i bought this.....

This has improved my hitting amazingly!...sorry i know you have to buy it...but it really is worth it. Its fun too!

  7. try having a contest with your self. see how many times you can bump in a row. or setting. if you have a friend or someone to practice with, try peppering it. bumping, setting, and spiking. etc.

  8. Hitting drills are hard to do without a net and without a partner.  However, if you have a local tennis court, you can go there and bring tennis balls, not volleyballs.  Then, practice your approach on the tennis court, and throw the tennis ball down as hard as you can.  This is a simulation of hitting without a net.  Make sure you snap your wrist and follow through.  Keep the same approach you use on a volleyball court or the practice hitting will offset your  approach.
