  1. You shouldn't call your coach evil in the first place. She's probably trying to make you guys tougher than the other teams.

Second, you should put some ice on those injuries. Ice will make the swelling go down and will almost numb the pain.

Also talk to your coach if you and your teammates think your coach is working you to hard or whatever your coach is doing to get you upset. Get better!

  2. Talk to your coach abt. it & if he/she dosen't change it, ice your arms

  3. He is evil, you have to be hulk if ya wanna hit them things with punches constantly.First of all report him if ya can. Passing a net with a basketball is harsh, but even if he just wants you to hit it.But anyways, take a bag of ice and rest the injured part on it then get one of them patched that are icy hot( tried it once).I play volleyball alot so i am used to them common injuries.

  4. You really shouldn't be using those, that is really bad for you.  There are special heavy volleyballs  but even those are only for setting not passing.  Anyway it wouldn't help you at all on the passing actually it will only make your passing worse because now everything will be an overpass.  Don't use basketballs even if your coach tells you to, you can talk to your trainer or athletic director.

  5. Wow passing basketballs???  And Spikeing basketballs.  Your coach is confused.  We used to set basketballs to create arm power but passing one or spikeing one is just dumb.  Now Finger Jam is just ice.  Now bump on your forearm is just ice as well.

Just letting you know Ive played for 20 years and have played college Volleyball and play AAA outdoor and AA indoor volleyball and never needed to learn to pass a basketball.  May want to alert someone on this one

  6. Protest and don't give in.

  7. Why in the h**l would your coach do that..is he stupid..trying to get you all to have broken arm joint muscles..yes it will little by little hurt the joints to the point when you hit the ball your fists will bend totally at a nintey degree angle to the ground (we hd to watch a video at the beginning of my 10th gradeJV volleyball season about what to do and what not to do)

  8. I see what the coach is trying to do by using a ball that weighs more, but if the players on the team are getting hurt from his methods of training then you need to tell somebody and change things

  9. ouch that sounds painful. first of all i think you should talk to your coach about this basketball thing. and as an alternative method to actually playing with a basketball, try using a basketball to just lift above you head and throw, instead of actually volleying the ball. as for your injuries, try putting ice on them, or try a pain patch (hot/cold) or take tylenol to reduce pain.. good luck..

  10. I'm sorry, but your coach is highly misguided if he/she thinks using a basketball is going to improve anything. The only time you should use a non-standard ball for volleyball training is using a weighted volleyball for setter training. It helps improve your hand strength and coordination.

I highly disagree with your coaches approach to training. This seems extremely silly and pointless.

  11. basketballs is he crazy use volleyballs its called that for a rewason sorry i took so long  to answer some guy kicked me off i dont even know him he took off
