  1. You have to make sure both of your feet are together the moment before you take off. That is why you need to do left----right-left (the final left would put your left foot next to your right foot).

By the way, this is for right-hand hitter with 3-step approach.

If you want to do 5-step approach, just go left----right----left----right-left.

The bottom line is that you will have to jump off two feet to make yourself "look right".

[Edit] By saying "next", I didn't mean to keep your feet tightly together. You should keep them away as far as the width of your shoulders.

  2. okay so i can do jump serve but im not the greatest at it but my advice to you about spiking and the way you look is count the way you step. in a normal spike you should be right left right togeather, jump and i jump with my legs togeather and the rest is well all in the arms and to jump serve you should know how to that so yeah

  3. just do ur approach..left, right, together, jump

    opposite if ur left handed
