Volleyball latest: Huge McCutcheon will serve as Headline Speaker at the 2011 USA Volleyball Coaches’ Clinic
Quite recently, the USA Volleyball (USAV) had disclosed that the head coach of U.S. Women’s National Team, Huge McCutcheon will attend the upcoming volleyball coaches’ clinic as the Headline Speaker. The 2011 USA Volleyball High Performance Coaches’ Clinic
is scheduled to take place in January. The US Olympic Training Centre in Colorado Springs, Colo. will host the two-day training activity from January 20-22, 2011.
McCutcheon will be joined by American Women’s National Volleyball Team Assistant Coach Karach Kiraly (who is from San Clemente, California). Additionally, the head coach of Stanford University Women’s Volleyball Team John Dunning will also perform his duties
as the Headline Speaker at the clinic along with McCutcheon and Kiraly. These three mentors of their respective teams have got years of experience in training the volleyball squads. McCutcheon has been attached with US Men’s Volleyball Team for quite a long
time. The team clinched success at many platforms, while playing under his supervision. Currently, McCutcheon is supervising the Women’s National team of USA. It is good gesture that USA Volleyball has selected him as the Headline Speaker. It will surely benefit
the learners at the clinic.
In this regard, the Olympic Training Centre has been set up to facilitate the participants of clinic. The registration for clinic is still open and first 100 registrants will get a chance to attend the clinic. Olympic Training Centre will facilitate the
attendees with room and board services. Besides, they will offer shuttle services to and from the Colorado Springs Airport. The whole package is worth $450.
The clinic has another prominent feature that the USA Volleyball Coaching Accreditation Program (CAP) Level II and Level III will also be offered. All in all, the Volleyball Clinic is a great opportunity for coaches to enhance their knowledge of game.
There will be different learning modules and participants will get to find out new tips and techniques about the game. The training facility will surely enable them to organise their teams in a better way. The 2-day activity has so much to offer to the aspiring
learners of volleyball. There will be different learning modules and courses, which will be undergone. USAV is hopeful for the success of this volleyball clinic.
