Volleyball latest: USAV opens the registration for NCVF Championships
The USA Volleyball (USAV) has opened the registration for the National Collegiate Volleyball Federation (NCVF) Championships today (Friday, 21 January 2011). The news has been recently out from the headquarters of USAV in Colorado, SPRINGS, Colo. The athletes
can now register for the upcoming NCVF championships, which include 2011 USA Volleyball National Championships and the 2011 National Collegiate Club Volleyball Championships. The registration for teams will remain open until February 25 and the entry fee ranges
from $850 to $1200 for different categories.
The NCVF Championships are scheduled to start in the month of April, 2011. The first edition of the championships will take place from April 7-9th at the Reliant Park in Houston. The championships will feature four divisions for men and three
divisions for women. The men’s divisions include:
Division I Division IAA Division II Division III
Similarly, Division I, Division II and Division III will represent the women’s section. In the 2010 Season, 266 college club teams enrolled for the NCVF Championships. The teams bearing the name of NCVF worked out great reputation while playing in different
national club collegiate championships. This time around, the USAV is also optimistic about the good turnout of teams.
Subsequently, the USA Volleyball Open National Championships will be carried out from May 28th to June 4th. The Dallas Convention Centre in Dallas, Texas will be the prominent host of this campaign, where 30 different championships
will be featured. The championships will include the Open Divisions and age-group brackets as well.
In the third stage of the campaign, the USA Volleyball Open National Championships will feature a new division of Sitting Volleyball. The athletes of physical abilities will get a chance to demonstrate their capabilities in the Sitting Volleyball Division,
which will take place from June 3-4. The Sitting Division is likely to feature both men and women on a team. Moreover, the players from multi-regions will be allowed to form a team.
The National Collegiate Volleyball Federation Championships play an instrumental role in gathering a talent pool of young athletes. That’s why they have complete support of USA Volleyball (USAV).
