7 feet 11 5/8 inches at the middle but can't be any higher than 8 feet 1/4 inches at sidelines..

Laws of physics would tell you that the net can't be perfectly straight.  It would always be slightly lower at the middle but it should be tight enough that difference can't be more than 5/8 inches(= 8' 1/4" - 7' 11 5/8).

In other words, the height of the net is 7' 11 5/8" at the middle and between 8' 1/4" and 7' 11 5/8" at sidelines.
