Volleyball open gym?

We have open gym today. Im kinda nervous because i have'nt been practicing like i should be. Any tips on what to do its at 3:00 today please help THANKS.

  1. Show your control over the ball (hit, dig, set, and serve). Make sure you can serve 90-100% into the court, and no fancy serve. Call out louder when necessary.

    Footwork is also very important. Move, move, move, even when the ball already hit the floor. Always assume the ball would not be dead, and keep your mind on the ball (not high fives).

    Show your effort, and you will be rewarded.


  2. Just relax and remember that you are playing because it is fun and you enjoy it.

    The best thing to do is get in a positive state of mind - imagine yourslef playing well and don't get down on yourself if you make a mistake.

  3. at our open gym our coach seperates us into varsity and jv, and then at towards the end we scrimmage together, its nice because you get to work with your team before the season already starts, just make sure you have control over the ball, and show him what skills you have, and if they try to correct something then let them
