  1. volleyball. i've done both, but i stopped doing cheerleading and still do volleyball. it's more fun.

  2. keep trying at both dont give up..............

  3. I failed my school team, but keep on trying, i made it my first time, but not second, but i am a lot better now! My point is try, try and try again until u have you know for sure that you don't want to play any more... In the end it is up to you... if you like volleyball enough to stick with it forever or if you think you are going to fail forever and go to cheer..... it up to you to make that decision.

  4. i was a volleyball player, and it is completely worth it if you put enough time and effort into it. volleyball is a team sport and i like it better than cheerleading. you could keep trying at volleyball, and i really hope that you do, but for now you should stick to cheer while doing clinics and stuff. good luck!

  5. i've done competitive cheerleading for 4 years and school cheerleading for 1 year.

school cheer was too easy for me, so i quit.

    and i also loveee volleyball.

and dont just do cheer cus you think guys will like you, some cheerleaders are S****y, doesnt mean all of them are, just maybe some.

do whatever you think you should.

maybe this summer practice volleyball alot and then try out for school next year and if you just dont think you will ever excel or you want to quit, maybe try cheerleading.

  6. Do volleyball 1st semester and cheer second semester, if your high school allows it.

  7. I think you should do cheerleading. I personally think that in cheerleading there is more team work involved. Especially  because you do stunts in cheerleading and you need alot of team work to get that flyer up in the air. (trust me I'm a base!) And it helps you to form a type of trust between you and you other stunt group members, because you all have to do a part of a stunt whether it's backing, fronting, basing, or flying. And you all depend on each other for support and help so it takes alot of trust.

TUMBLING IS THE BOMB!!!!!! Tumbling to me is one of the best parts of cheerleading. But it takes alot of stamina, power, and agility. But it's the best part!

Jumps are easy once you start to do a few.

Chants are the easiest. All you have to do is do a really big cheesy smile and be loud and maybe a few facials which are maybe a few winks or some little head movement or something of that sort.

I think if you try out for cheerleading it will work out better in the long run, and it will be worth it.

But if volleyball is what you want then go for it and try your best.

  8. no offense but cheerleading makes you look preppy, and also kinda prissy. Volleyball makes you look sporty, which is way more comfortable, but choose what you want most in the end!

  9. i failed to make the vollayball team my first year. i kept practicing and made the team but rode the bench. my senior year i was a captain on the state championship team. dont give up.

Plus, take it from a non-shallow headed, non-cheerleading chasing dude, volleyball girls are sexier!

  10. keep trying. you will never do anything if you give up. practice makes perfect =]

  11. cheer!!

  12. cheerleading

  13. Pick cheer leading, unless volleyball is something you really want bad enough to work at majorly.

  14. cheerleading, guys will like u

  15. That is my problem too.  If your like me and your school does cheer try outs in middle spring (March) and volleyball is in Spet. thru November then you can try out for cheer and if you don't make it try volleyball again.  In March when we had tryouts I couldn't do them cause I sprained my wrist.  Do whatever you like best.  Don't do it cause guys will like you if your a cheerleader.

  16. keep trying
