  1. Ask the coach to let you leave at around 7. I am sorry, confirmation and God are way more important than volleyball, and if your coach doesn't understand that, then that's just too bad for him/her.

  2. im sure the coach will understand that you have a commitment to confirmation, so just explain it to them, they'll probably let to leave early from tryouts :)

  3. i would go to volleyball tryout, but since i have played for 6 years, sometimes,i put it before a lot of things.i'm not saying church isn't worth your time, cause i go to church, and sometimes it's really hard to go regularly because of volleyball, but volleyball tryouts come around once a year.

  4. i would go to v-ball because its not like you have another chance to tryout! am i right? you can go to confirmation any time !!!

  5. Volleyball tryouts. This comes, what, once a year?? And your confirmation things can be easily made up.

Please don't start beating on me, I am a Christian!!

  6. You need to be there for tryouts, they arent going to want to keep you if you cant make it to practices and games every other week on wednesday.

Also it kind of depends on what grade you are in, Im going to guess 8th. Make sure that after you skip just this one week, that you let the coach know that you will not be able to make those certain practices. Its hard when you have more than one thing going on.

  7. I would agree with Star.  Since this is tryouts and they are only once a year, I would stay at the tryouts.  Missing one confirmation does not make you a bad Christian.  If you were having practice every Wednesday, I would talk with the coach and see if you could leave early every other week.  Since it is a one time thing, I would go to tryouts.  If you leave tryouts early, what does it show for your commitment to the team.  If you can only stay for half of your commitment to the team, what are you saying about your commitment for the rest of the season.
