  1. The two side people go two feet in from the sideline and three feet behind the ten-foot line. The middle back player stands about on the freethrow line (if your court is shared with a basketball court) or about three feet from the back line. Good luck to them all!

  2. netnetnetnetnetnetnetnet

                    3.

             4.          2.

               5.    6. 1.

    1. is serving

    5.6.1. are the back line

    3. is the setter

    4.2. are the sides

    hope this helps!!!

  3. do a six two thats almost what every high school dose

  4. teach them the 6-2 serve recieve w. ot the teacup.

  5. The bottom line is to make sure you make your first pass and hit before switching.

So I would tell my players not to switch untill the ball is sent over the net, if one of the front row players is receiving the ball. After that, your middle blocker should slide along the net ready to block, your Oustside Hitter should be switched to left front and your setter should be in right front when playing 4-2 or right middle (next to the 10-ft line) if you are playing 6-2.

If the ball was served to the back row, you can switch immediately to have your OH hit at left front, and MH running quick 1 or 2... provided your back row player is not "shooting" the ball straight to the setter (jk)

  6. u can get some info from the below website

  7. At my high school we play 2-5 but it gets kind of confusing..

  8. In high school you can't serve under hand so make them practice by serving over hand instead of underhand.

  9. like a ready position?

knees bent (low),round your shoulder,on you toes...Don't just lean foreward or just bend your knees. Srry if i didnt get the Q.

  10. Oh well in my volleyball team, we play the 4/2 and 5/1. a 4/2 is when there are 2 setters and 4 hitters. the 2 setters are always opposite from each other. you would want the back row to stay quite far back, and ur front row to stay about 3-4 metres away from the net. That way if the serve goes night near the net, the person who is in front can easily bump it. if the serve goes over the front rows head, the back row can move up quickly and dive for it. They always hav to hav their feet moving! its easier to run forward than it is to run backwards!

anyways good luck as coach. hope ur team gets 1st place.
