  1. wow, you're thirteen and five nine, im 13 and not even five feet! girl you dont need to jump to spike! you're tall, you'd be great at blocking and spiking! dont play in the back, its a great position but generally easier for shorter kids to play in. its easier for them becuase they are lower to the ground. dont be a setter becuase once again easier for short people to get under the ball.

    good luck

    hope this helps

  2. At 13 you can't jump that high because you aren't practicing enough. you have to build up those muscles. do the best you can and you'll be happy whatever position you play.

  3. I think you should be a "Middle Blocker" because of your height.

    Middle blocker:

    * Middle blockers or Middle hitters are players that can perform very fast attacks that usually take place near the setter. They are specialized in blocking, since they must attempt to stop equally fast plays from their opponents and then quickly set up a double block at the sides of the court. In general they are the tallest players, but are often less skillful defensive players.

    Check out the website below!!!

  4. bettermanners is a douche bag you should probably be a libero if your good in the back. a libero is a back row specialist

  5. Even though you're a beginner, you're tall.

Tall players are usually in the front, blocking and hitting.

Shorter players are usually in the back (once you learn some regulations/rules, you'll understand why).

But since you don't have a good vertical (jump), you might have to work on that. Practice doing approaches, blocks.

Also find other ways to help your vertical.

Trust me, coaches want tall players in the front.

Talk to a coach, or look online at VB websites
