  1. go to dis website!!!! http://www.wikihow.com/Play-Volleyball

  2. Here are some ways I imporve my volleyball skills when I;m not in camps or on my school or club team.

*I pass with a friend or family member

    *set to the wall

    *pass to the wall

*go to the YMCA w/ friends and pass the ball areound in the gym or racquet ball room (and serve to the wall there)

*measure 30 ft (length from serving line to net) out side and serve the ball.  [Tip: if you can serve to your roof or at the local park]

*Keep an open eye for open volley ball gyms during the summer (probably at a high school, middle school, or volleyball gym).

*get some friends to play a game at the park or in some ones yard if they have a net.

*look for camps at highschool and volleyball gyms and the ymca

    *join a summer league

Have a great summer!!  Good luck with your volleyball and I hope this helped!!

    Keep playing,

    lIve the volleyball gal

  3. Any thing!try bumping or setting or spiking with a friend. if no ones around try doing bumps or sets or spikes to a wall. if you can buy volley ball knee pads and practice diving after the ball. get a good sports name brand volley ball to practice with. hope i can help!(:

  4. yea, just practice the control on your bumps. They really come in use in a game. Starting a pickup game with some of ur friends is great practice.

  5. ball control is important, walking around while bumping helps with this, as does laying on your back and setting straight up.

bumping or seting to a mark on a wall (I found a handball court was very nice and didn't tear up the ball) also helps with control.

Don't forget about your serve, if you can't get it over the net the rest of the skills serve no purpose

special note for all the people who say to practice off of a roof, shingle roofs will get damaged by this and then leak, tile roofs can also get cracked from the impact

  6. yea bumps and volleying will help, take a ball and practice against a wall and practice your serving.

if you serve overhand make sure you don't close your hand to serve it must be open.

and if you serve underhand make sure you don't throw the ball in th air to hit it.

my coach nagged a lot of girls about serving that way.make sure you don't get in the habit of doing it.

  7. Play volleyball by yourself.

Up against a wall is good.

I find it best to hit it off the roof.

It will roll back down and since you cant see it when it's on the roof it will give you faster reflexes.

Once you've mastered it on your own.

Get some friends together and play.

Dont try playing a real game with your friends.

    Just bump and set.

Try to get to like 100 bumps or sets in a row.

The most important part of volleyball is to not let it hit your side.

So by having the best bumps and sets.

    You will win for sure!

    Hope I could Help.
