  1. usually they are just like 7th grade (were at my school, at least) its not until highschool when they start getting harder.

  2. I've played for two years. The first year of practices was in the afternoon. We would bump in small groups, have serving practice, scrimmage, and run laps. The second year was the same, except it was at  5:00 in the morning. Practice was about 21/2 hrs. and i'm going into 9th grade

  3. i'm 16 and going to be a junior

my practices are about 2-3 hours long after school. we normally start out with running a few laps around the gym and then we warm up. afterwards we pepper a little to warm up even more and then we start doing drills. sometimes we just work on defense or sometimes just on offense, depending on what our coach wanted. we did drills in all the skills, digging, hitting, serving, setting, passing. usually if we had a good practice, we'll play a practice game at the end or play king of the court. and then my coach leaves and the captains talk for a little bit. then we're done.

  4. im going into 10th and mine last year were a lot of work. very sweaty. and hot. bring a water bottle. its worth it though

  5. u can sign up for volleyball camp at the Courts. im in the 8th gr.

  6. well, i guess it kind of depends on your coach. but expect alot of leg work outs. but really, it shouldn't matter because;  when you like a sport you should be willing to do anything to get playing time. so try your best, and good luckk!!

  7. The practices for my school are fun and rewarding, but exhausting, and you have to work hard!  They usually go on for two hours every day, during school, but practices outside of school were two hours in the morning, and two hours in the afternoon!  It's strenuous but it always pays off.  One day we'll do jump training and then practice with the balls, and do drills, and then the next day we'll work on our core, weight train, and run like there's no tomorrow! :D  By the end of the practice everybody is sweaty and tired.  I'll be going into 10th grade, and this is my fifth year playing!   :D

  8. Hard. Hot. Sweaty ):

Haha lets just put it in those words.

Im going to 11th grade, I've been playing since7th.

You just do alot of exercises, and then do scrimmages.

My practices were like two hours.

  9. stretch

    run

    jump rope

    line jump

    serve practice

    speality practice (S"setters",H,L,OH,DS)

*may be as individual or as a team depends on size

    scrimmege

    cool down (bumping/serving something east)

    go home

most practices are about 2 hours

more or less depending on skill level games coming up if its out door the weather is going to affect u alot

  10. I'm a soft more in high school but i have been in volleyball since i was 12. when i was i 8th grade practice was 2 hours long after school ever day (no weekends ). it was a blast! i highly recommend it. but if you are thinking about doing it in high school it is very time consumming. Saturdays and 3hours a day if you dont have a game.

  11. haha i just finished 8th grade v ball ok at first they make you run tons around the gym... be prepared lol... then normally bumping, hitting, then setting... but you feel so good to be playing it's fun

  12. I'm a freshman and volleyball has stared to get pretty tough.

in middle school we usually only had about 1 or 2 hours of practice doing drills and then we had to run tons of suicides but you are going to have to run and be in shape for any sport really.

It's fun...you should DEFINITELY try it!

  13. im in 9th grade.

Practices for 8th grade were all like 2-3 hours long.  This is what is consisted of:

    - Warm up (Stretching, and running)

    - Serving

    - Hitting lines

    - Drills

    - Plays

    - Modified Games
