  1. butt y would u want to ur team would get points duhh..

  2. to follow up on gordon's details. Be aware of the rules for your level of play. In college and some high school, there is the option of pursuit. In most club ball there is not.

Pursuit is when your team hits the ball past the net and pole in the out of bounds area. When pursuit is allowed, a player is allowed to go after the ball and bring it back onto their side of the court within boundary limits then play it over the net (within the 3 hits allowed)

  3. As long as the ball doesn't bounce first, you can play the ball and it remains an active play.  However, if your team fails to get the ball over the next and in court you risk losing the point if they served.

  4. yes you can as long as the ball doesn't hit the ground, hit the wall, or if your at a tournament, go into another court.

  5. yes you can if u can beat the ball u can dive for it anything as long as the ball doesnt hit the ground out of bounds then it is still a live ball

  6. I dont understand... If someone HITS it?? How is that possible? Do you mean if someone shanked it? Because then, if it went out, then yes you can chase it..

  7. hecc yea you better

just hustle,,dive and show you tried

and that you gave it your all

  8. if one of your teammates hits the ball out of bounds, another teammate can hit it back in if the ball hasn't touched the ground and if that team hasn't exceeded the 3 touch rule

  9. as long as the ball doesnt hit the ground, it's good

  10. I will add that it can not hit a foreign object as well.  It obviously can not hit the wall.  Other forbidden objects include players, officials, benches, score table or anything else on the sidelines.  Everyone above is correct.  You can go out of bounds to play the ball back in bounds if the ball has not touched the ground OR another object.  Your team has 3 hits and if the first one goes out of bounds, you have 2 plays to bring the ball over the net and inside the antennas.  (The antennas are the red and white striped poles that are above the sidelines.)
