  1. The question is irrelevant. All this will show you is how much your strength and/or hand/eye coordination has improved. To really get an idea of your improvement ask yourself, 'what can i do now, that I couldn't do at the beginning of the season?' That will help you determine if you're improving.

If you're serious about volleyball and getting better, you do need to start working on an overhand serve. Not that there's anything wrong with an underhand serve (i've seen underhand servers go on 6, 7, 10 point runs) but an underhand serve is where you start, not where you finish. An overhand serve requires more skill and concentration and as such, is more accurate. If you're serious about improving it's important to set goals for yourself (like I want to get the ball over the net with an overhand serve), than constantly changing those goals to reflect your current skill level (after getting it over successfully and consistently, start picking spots on the other side of the floor or work on mastering the two different overhand serves float and spin).....basically all i'm saying is if you want to improve you have to push the boundaries of what you THINK you're capable of. I put think in caps cause with a lot of young athletes they are very hard on themselves and confidence can be low. Because of this, young athletes are usually capable of way more than they think they are, they just don't have the confidence to know it.

Good luck with volleyball, it's a great game!

  2. underhand servers suck learn overhand

  3. UM ABOUT 50 FEET I GUESS BUT I DONT THINK THAT CAN TELL YOU IF YOU ARE INPROVING OR NOT

  4. you really should learn to serve overhand its all about arm speed and toss and once you get the hang of it your hitting will majorly improve because your hits will be faster. but once you learn overhand i would serve a floater by hitting with the palm of your hand and bending your fingers back they are incredible unpredictable and the opponet wont know where to go to get a good pass off of it.  yea i agree with everyone else its about 50 feet but theres more to improvment then just how far you can serve its also about location if you can hit lines its a really good thing, and ball control. you cant really tell off of just serving since its not the only aspect of the game

  5. that's about 50 feet and how far you serve doesn't tell you if you improving . i would try to learn to serve overhand because under hand doesn't get you far well i don't no who you play for .i also don't no who old you are but i was serving over hand since i was like 11.and once you get your overhand serve you can tell that your getting better by serving hard and over the net most of the time and being able to place it where you want to also putting top spin on it well i hoped that helped.
