  1. It's from sweating, the sweat gets trapped in the knee pad and causes a red burn, especially if you have shaved your legs before putting them on.

  2. if it hurts it kinda sounds like your getting  a floorburn from not having your kneelpads up all the time...

i've had teammates who get rashes from their kneepads from having them on for so long and the sweat gets trapped and rubs against the skin. make sure you wash your kneepads as often as possible and try (when you're on a drink break or something) pulling them down to let your knees air out.

  3. Do you shave before you play volleyball? If so, that's why you're getting a rash. The same thing happens to my friends who play soccer and it's happened to me before when playing volleyball. Your hair follicles are open right after you shave, so when you sweat and the kneepads keep the sweat on your knees it makes a red rash appear. Try not to shave before you play unless it's absolutely necessary.

  4. some people in my team wrap their knees with pre-wrap and wrap and afterward put their knee pads on.  it probably has nothing to do with your kneepads.  also i recommend wearing your kneepads the least amount of time possible, until the rash subsides.

put some sort of lotion or cream at night and keep the area clean.

  5. its because you have your knee pads on and your knees get sweaty it rubs and can give you a rash

  6. What u should do is make sure you moisturize beforehand.  you also may want to get new knee pads.  if u wear the knee socks DONT!!! stop wearing them. wear the shorter socks that go mid calf cuz they dont rub against ur knees the under armour and mizuno crew socks are the best. also get new knee pads and wash them regularly.  i have tried a lot of knee pads and these work the best
