Volleyball question please please answer v-ball players?

Question

Ok so I am wanting to play volleyball and we were givin new uniforms this year, it includes, the jersey, spandex, and knee socks. Now we are boys: that is not a good combination for us, they dont give us spandex but they have to be black. I thought only girls had to wear them, but the guy who is girl who is gona coach us said there is a new rule, what spandex should i buy that will go with this uniform?

Dude you must be from Alberta Canada because we just heard about that rule to, we have orange uniforms and they made us wear orange spandex it sucked so bad, but now were use to it, yeah it does make you more comfortable because our junk wont fly around anymore, but we have to wear women's spandex just like you

mizuno spandex!!! looks like your jersey is dark blue and white so i would either go with dark blue spandex or white spandex.....the mizunos are really comfortable and durable and only cost about $20

Are you making this stuff up? I have never heard of mandatory spandex for guys. Is it for school or club? What state?

You don't have to be specific, but I'm curious.
