Ok, so this is not a huge deal to me but i need to know, heres the story,

On the first day of volleyball tryouts we were givin our uniforms that included long socks, shorts and a jersey, were boys.

On our first game our coach who is a girl told us to give her our shorts. Our uniforms are blue and white. She went into a bag and threw a bunch of spandex shorts at us and said we have to wear them because of some new rule, and all the other teams had to as well. we played the game in them and they were so much more comfie than just spandex under shorts or none at all. We were embaresed but were way more comfertable than when we didnt have them. We didnt get floor burn as easy and they didnt ride up. Later on we found out that we only had to wear them under our shorts, but some of the teams including ours just wear them withour shorts over top of them. is this Ok? they are comfie

  1. yeah its fine its a new thing thats happing in like 4 years every guy team will be wearing them.

  2. Personally as a guy player...I would never want to wear just spandex and not shorts, I wear spandex (underarmour guys spandex) but I wear them under my shorts

I would not be comfortable in just spandex and really if I was playing against a team of guys wearing spandex for shorts I am not gonna be intimidated.

And what kind of rule is that, I have never gotten floor burn playing volleyball...You just need to know how to dive properly and you would be fine

    I feel sorry for you

  3. Umm its ok yeah, but if youre not comfortable in that little of clothes I would suggest wearing something over them.  Honestly I think its really funny when guys wear spandex shorts.
