you know when a team has allt he same color jersery, and one girl on the team has a different color? what is the job of that girl.. like what does she do.. ♥

She can only play the back row, and is usually one of the best passers on the team. If the libero sets a ball, then the other team members cannot attack the ball with an overhand hit. When substituting a libero for another player, they do not have to go above the ten foot line, in fact they can't, they just run off the court, simple as that. They are usually a very valuable player, and can also serve too.

And the first guy is wrong, they can hit the ball.

...that person is called the libero...they can go on the court in any persons place on the backrow...they cannot jump and attack the ball....they do not serve...they are usually the best passers on the team....

She is called a libero.. and for club i was a libero..  she can sub in for any backrow player without stopping the game to sub.. it just has to be between plays.. the ref does not need to right it down... then the player they went in for comes bac in for them when the libero gets too the front row...they are kinda like a DS but that is all the specialize in is defensive... mostly on serve recieve and hits..
