I am a defesive specialist [ds] and a setter [s]. I am more focused on the ds position. This involves a lot of moving and staying low. Volleyball starts August 8th and I need to start training now. ---> I just need tips on how to build up my leg muscles. <---

  1. Then I think that squats are the most valueble exercise for you. You take a weight and you stand with your feet 40 cm&#039;s (or 15 inches) from eachother and act like you&#039;re going to sit on a chair. Remind to keep your back straight.

    Also leg curls are good for you: quadriceps and hamstrings. And running of course, but I guess you might already knew that ;-)
