I joined the volleyball team in the 3rd week of school and in like 2-3 weeks they will be choosing people who make it. I know all the positions I just don't get which way your suppose to go. It's embrassing because I see everyone rotating and I'm the only one standing and asking were I'm suppose to go.

So how does it work?

  1. rotate clockwise

  2. Clockwise.

That's obvious. BUT if your confused about if they go to weird places. Look at these pictures and determine what system they use, then memorize where you go and stuff.

  3. you rotate clock wise but see below for visual. also the numbers indicate the serving order. hope this helps. best of luck this season.!!!!!

        NET

    LF  MF  RF

    4 >   3 > 2

    LB MB RB

    5  <  6  < 1

  4. well the six positions on the court start from where you serve. it looks like this:

    4-------3------2

    5-------6------1

You rotate clockwise from 1 all the wayback to the same spot.

    good luck!

  5. you go to the right. and if ur in the front RIGHT, setter position, you would go to the back row and serve. if ur in the back left, you would move up.

  6. ok you have a set position on the court either MH (middlehitter)

Setter and Op and both OH and if your school does it a Libero which is a defensive specialist.   what happens there are two OH two MH and either the setters or the setter and the OP

the game will rotate from serving zone 1 which is right back to 6 which is middle back so if you are facing the net you go clock wise around move in zones 1 6 5 4 3 2 back to 1 again just make sure you know where you on the court at all times

the only thing you have to pay attention to is the girl that serves before and after you that they you can never be out of rotationg

after you or your team serves you will go to your home position say you are an outside hitter (OH) as soon as you serve you will go to the left back position. after every serve that is made by both sides of the court you will move to the left back positions.

now when you move to the front row still playin OH you will go to the left front or serving zone 4 which is the front row position closest to the up ref thats easy to rememeber

i can break it down more email me i coach UNO vbc in ILY

  7. I don't know anything either :) but like last year, I just paid attention to when everyone was moving to the right,at the front, I would move to the left, if I was at the back. If my position was the serving position, I would know that the next rotate would be when I go back to sit at the benches. Some of my team mates are all confused where to go sometimes, so it's okay if you don't. Hope this helps, and good luck for getting on the team!

  8. well you rotate clockwise

    lf      mf       rf

    lb     mb      rb

*the l is for left* the r is for right * the f is for front*b is for back

    and M is for middle

and if u are right front. u go to right back ...right back goes to middle back and so forth
