  1. I would play it safe, and sit out this season. You are young yet, and would have three more seasons in which to play.

  2. take it easy and just to a light jog everyday for about 20 minutes. if that's still to hard for you, id reccomend sitting out. but if it's not, jog everyday and work up to a faster run. but, with your ankle you won't be as fast as you could be. at tryouts, explain to the coach your situation, and also explain that you have a passion for volleyball and you would love to do it, even with your ankle, and see what she says. but in the end do what your body tells you. if your ankle hurts too much, you should sit out. you dont want to make your injury worse.

  3. wear an ankle brace and rub some icy hot on it before you run. dont try to compete with anyone and just do your best. but if you wear an ankle brace youll be fine.

  4. Wearing an ankle brace will help a little or try taking a pain killer before you run.
