  1. Just let it go. My volleyball team for school went all season without winning a single game, when the year before we came in 2nd place. It was the same team members as before to. Yes we did in fact care and it hurt us to have ended the season like that but we got over it and we got better.

For my league we came in 3rd (we were the top team) we had lost in our last game. and if we would have won that we would have fought for first.

Yes it happens to everyone. You think that you will win but you have to keep a good attitude. Never underestimate who you play otherwise you will lose.

All you need to do is try your hardest. Train and get ready for the challenge. If you slack of your not going to get better. Maybe next year you will make it to the top. I wish you luck

  2. you can  GET OVER IT

  3. dont worry about it.

first off, like everyone else said- your only in 8th grade. If you want to persue volleyball, you have so many more years left.

Go out and play some baseketball, football or baseball

get your mind off it :)

just get your confidence back up, and shake it off.

  4. Get over it.  You're only a 8th grader.  You still have tons of games to be played in the future and they will be played at higher level.  Think about the future more than the past.

You should only think about past games in order to analyze the game, assess team/individual performance, and figure out how you can improve.

It is a good thing that you care because that's what makes players more competitive and work hard.

Let me give you some tips that can help you benefit from even a loss.

Learn from Past Games to Make Improvements in the Future:

It is important to accurately assess yourself and recognize both your strength and weakness.

    1. Build up good fundamental skills

-Good basic skills are like the solid ground on which you will build up more advanced skills.

-See if you're always using correct forms and techniques even when you're passing a free ball.

    2. Identify your weakness and work on it REGULARLY until it becomes your strength. Turn your weakness into strength. Sometimes, you can correct your weaknesses with a few adjustments but otherwise persistence is what it takes to overcome them. I used to be really bad at passing floaters so I made extra efforts to improve on it and now I can pass those better than most people at my club. But it didn't happen overnight.

    3. Identify your strength and maximize it to your full potential.

-Remember that you made the team because of your strength, NOT because of your weakness. So you need to stand out in it. Middle blockers should improve their skills at the net just like DS's continue to improve their defensive skills. Do the best what you do the most.

    4. Constantly, examine yourself and see if there are any areas where you can improve. Also, don't be afraid to try new techniques and open your ears to other people's advice.

  5. GET OVER IT!!!!!!! your only a 8th grader!!!!!!!!!!

  6. let it go, in club and in high school, there is no such thing as a rematch for a championship, you just have to deal with second place. just go out and get the next game.
