Question:

Volleyball team in september...?

i want to be in TOP shape next month for volleyball...i am already in pretty good shape...so what do you suggest doing to in better shape?? and to rebuild the muscle in my left arm because i had an ingury not to long ago...

  1. I always suggest working out in the pool.  You can work on your jump by getting about chest deep in the water.  Crouch down and then jump as high as you can.  Do about 100 as fast as you can and then take a break.  

    You can also swim to help strengthen your left arm.  The water will act as great resistance for your arm and your jumping.


  2. Here's a tip to help with your spiking/blocking.. spend anywhere from 30 min. to an hour on the trampoline, doing jumps..trying to jump as high as you can.  You won't believe the muscles you will build!  Then your blocking and spiking will be much improved!

    For conditioning, focus more on sprints and fast times instead of indurance.
