  1. It suppose to go small big step swat swing arms jump up turn turn body to the arm angle you use like right pull you right arm back like a right angle and smash it. The nets for girls are so low that you dont even need an approach just stand there and smack the ball.

  2. You step with your left then right then left. After the last left you jump and swing your arm.

  3. As a rightie you should start with your right foot foward, push off with your left, and land 1-2 squarely with your two feet.  Then push off your two feet, up ,while bringing your elbow back than swing when the ball is like a half arms length away from the top of your head

  4. personally i don't liek the three step approach, all the girls on my team used it but i used a four step

    right left right left

    first step=small

    second step=a little more

third step=widest step and arms back

fourth step=quick and arms up and BAM hit hte ball

    hope it helpts

  5. left, right, left

big step, little step, little step

    and swing your arms in

    front, middle, back

  6. Right handed people go:

    left- swing arms foreward

    right-swing arms back

    left-start swinging arms foreward

    jump!!!- and hit the ball

  7. For a Right Handed hitter:

1st step: The approach is Left, Right, Left or Out, Eagle, Up (same thing). You first step with your Left foot and put your hands out in front of you. You want to angle your body to where you want the ball to land. You need to wait to see where the ball goes before you start your approach.

2nd step:  You next step with your Right foot and squat down and put your hands out pointing to the ground.

3rd step: Now your going to step with your Left foot and spring up with your legs then put both arms up with your hands spread out (will cover more of the ball) When you hit the ball make sure you snap-swing-through. This means that you snap your wrist down and bring it all the way down till it is right beside your body. This will help the ball go down instead of straight through the air.

  8. sorry, i really bad at explaining and tend to write a lot.

    for a right handed hitter.

FIRST STEP-this is your directional step.  i start with my arms extended out in front of me and then i step with my left foot.  it is important that you see the set because if the set is off then you step towards the ball.

SECOND STEP-with your right foot, hop and turn your foot so it is pointing towards your setter.  *note for a right side hitter, i'm not sure if this is correct*  this is where i pull my arms back.

THIRD STEP-your left foot follows your right and now your feet should be about shoulder width apart.  your knees are bent and arms are still back.

then you swing your arms up and "explode with your legs"-quote from my coach.  during practice my coach had me touch the ground with my fingers before i hit when i was swinging my arms to show me how close to the ground i should be.

i would really suggest you find a coach or someone who plays and ask them in person because i think it is a lot easier with a real person explaining.  good luck with the approaches, they will get so much easier the more you practice!
