Volleyball trouble please help me!?

Question

I am starting to play volleyball this year and i am really excited, but i noticed that all the other people had spandex, long socks, knee pads, and tennis shoes, i just went in what i wore to basketball practice. The coach said i need to get the following list of things to play in the games. Spandex, tennis shoes, long socks, and knee pads. What brands of this do i buy, and please post a picture of the items.

All I wear is nike compression shorts, dri fit training shorts, and some nike running shoes and ankle socks I prefer not to wear knee pads or long socks

Uhh, is it really necessary to have long socks?  Well, I bought Nike spandex from my school.  They're pretty comfortable, the the thing is, they shrunk, or I just got fat.  J/K.  Tennis shoes and knee pads- I can't recommend any right now, because I'm looking for some of my own.  For socks.  You can buy some, at like, Eastbay or something.  But usually, you can just buy normal long socks - they'll work fine.

really, i dont think brands matter that much unless they want you guys to all have matching shoes or socks. go to sports authority and they should have everything you need.
