Volleyball tryouts UGHx5?

Well I'm 12 and im going into 7th grade and im joining the volleyball team and there are 5 days of tryouts and i missed the first day but tom is the 3rd day (second for me) and my body ACHES what can i do to help keep from aching when i want to give it my all cause theres only 16 spots plz help me cause i need this!!!

  1. Once you get going you won't feel sore anymore.

    Usually teams stretch out and warm up so that should help you.

    Believe me, you have no idea how sore I am from 3 1/2 hours tryouts two days in a row. Today will be the third day and it's even worse than before.


  2. Warming up and cooling down are the most important thing you can do. Get a lot of sleep and eat well. Make sure you cool down with a short light jog and stretching. Even do a little stretching before bed and when you wake up. Nothing special - any stretches you know will help. You are likely out of shape and you will naturally be sore but this can help ease the pain. Good luck, VBall is a lot of fun! PS- make sure you show the coach you're willing to work hard and have a good positive attitude. Maybe even ask your coach what you should do. I'd be impressed.

  3. hey ive played volleyball for 3 years & i just made the eight grade team. i know exactly how you feel. before you try out eat a banana. it has a lot of potassium. & will give you a lot of energy. stretch whenever your just lying around. i WILL hurt the first time but it will feel better when you're done. and it wont hurt as bad when you're running or whatever it is your team does. but good luck!!! & try your hardest & show the coaches that you're coachable & dont show additude.
