Volleyball tryouts on Monday. I need help with a diet?

Varsity tryouts are on monday.

I'm pretty good at volleyball and eat mostly healthy.

I run daily, bike most every day, do pilates and strengthening exercises, and of course practice serving, setting, blocking, spiking, passing, and diving.

What should my diet consist of from now on to have maximum performance?

The tryouts last 4 days.

I don't have allergies or food restrictions.

We eat vegetarian on friday because of our religious beliefs, but that's it.

    6 years of club um diet wise i don't really pay attention to one at all but um yogurt i know is actually really good beleive it or not lots of protein but sounds like your in pretty good shape and really shouldn't worry about a diet  


  2. this will be my 3rd year to play varsity and i've gotten a lot of nutrition tips. The best thing to have before practice is fruit or orange juice. After practice, make sure you eat/drink lots of protein during the first 45 minutes right after practice. This helps build your muscles and leaves you feeling refreshed and you won't feel all groggy. I usually drink some chocolate milk.
