  1. Spandex shorts, water, sleeveless t-shirt, water, small towel for your sweat, water, water, water.......

Knee pads are optional - if you move your feet to the ball, you don't need to dive so you don't need knee pads.

Bring your hustle and enthusiasm.   Pay attention - don't talk when the coach is talking.   Don't stand around and talk during drills.   And please, please DON'T WHINE!

  2. just wear a comfertable t-shirt and knee length b-ball shorts its not a fashion competition

  3. Spandex, but some ppl dont feel comfortable in them so you can wear any like gym clothes.

    Tshirt or tank top

    Sneakers. (preferably mizunos or asics)

As for socks, you can wear the short ones or the knee high socks. I dont personally like to wear knee pads, because theyre annoying, so I just wear knee socks. Somehow, I feel a tiny bit more safer when I dig. (but it really doesnt haha~ although it can help prevent SOME floor burns!) If you're a freshmen I highly recommend you to go buy a knee pad as soon as you can! There is actually a ceratin way to fall when you dig for the ball, and if you dont do it right, you can injure your knees! I follow that certain way of falling and I also have my own way of digging the ball so that I dont seriously injure/kill myself so I dont really have wear knee pads. SO, GO GET KNEE PADS!!! Oh and make sure you wear lightly, because gym with like 12345girls in summer = DEATH

  4. dont worry about the knee pads they provide them. they should any way. an about what to wear. just wear a  t-shirt, shorts an sneakers, because if you make the team. they provide everything else, an bring water

  5. I'd suggest a shirt with sleeves, in case you sweat alot, you can just roll em up & keep on going.

Spandex shorts would be ideal, but if you don't have any, don't go buying any until you make the team.

    Kneepads would be ideal also,

if you have a local walmart of something,

    go buy you some.

& make sure you have a water with you.

Also you dont *need* volleyball shoes.

    Clean running shoes coould work,

    or even some pumas.

  6. first, its very important 2 bring kneepads. 2nd wear spandex shorts. 3rd, wear a t shirt. 4th wear running or volleyball shoes. and bring water. if u want, u can bring flip flops or crocs 2 wear b4 and after tryouts bc new volleyball shoes shouldnt b worn outside th court.

  7. as far as the bottoms are concerned i would suggest some spandex shorts, and an exercises shirt that's form fitting but not too tight. If you wear a loose shirt it can get in the way of your arm technique. Also if you are confident in making the team you may want to pick up some sneakers especially suitable for volleyball. Aseics i think they're called something like that. Anyway Good Luck

  8. Go buy some kneepads. You need them to do a lot, like diving for balls, since that can be really painful without them. Wear soffes for shorts, and just a t-shirt, or if you want you can wear a tank with a cami over it or anything sort of form fitting. Hope this helps.

  9. wear spandex shorts and a t-shirt

to make the coaches notice you you could also wear a bright  t-shirt with your name on it

be sure to bring knee pads unless you're confident that you can dig a ball without getting a floor burn

if you're like me you should wear knee high socks because all the moving around on the court can give you blisters on the back of your ankles, especially if you have new shoes!!!

bring lots and lots of water and maybe a small snack like  a banana if you get dizzy

wear your hair up so it won't get in your eyes and also a hair band if you have bangs... you don't want them to obstruct your veiw of the ball

more than anything be confident and try your best... the coaches would rather have a player who tries hard and encourages every one else than a player that shows no effort !!!!

    good luck

  10. well.... u really need to get sum knee pads beause you have to dive for balls. i usually wear shorts like spandex or cotton shorts and a t-shirt or a tank top.

    Good Luck!

  11. kneepads tshirt and spandex

  12. no u need to have kneepads, they do not provide them, and u need to wear either spandex shorts, or cheerleading shorts, anything you can move around good in. be confident and ask questions

  13. Running shorts and normal t-shirt or tank top or any loose fitting clothes and a pair of comfortable sports shoes will do. Usually for try outs, they would provide the necessary equipments such as knee pads etc, etc.
