Volleyballcamp?

Hello...

I´m from Germany, I´m 26 (woman) and I´m looking for a volleyballcamp (training) with different other peoples and a coach. I play in a league here in Germany with level mediocre-high. Hope to get some ideas. Thanx a lot!

More than 30 years ago, my dad started the World Volleyball Training Center at a YMCA camp in Huguenot, NY, and staffed it exclusively with international coaches who we would fly in for the summer. (He has now retired.)

He had head coaches from Japan and Poland, and court coaches from Germany, Italy, Brazil, Argentina, Haiti, Tunisia, Puerto Rico, France, Lebanon, England, Scotland.

Mostly, the camp caters to high school age players, but usually the last two weeks included enough adults to have separate sections for them.

The level of instruction is exceptionally high. The focus is on teaching techniques, but Japanese and European style.

Today, the current camp director (not me) continues the international tradition.
