  1. Go to camp.

  2. if u have a friend or family member who will bump with u (or try to) u can practice bumping that way. If you can't find someone to play with you then i would mark spots on the ground with masking tape or something and you can serve and try to hit them or throw the ball up and bump it towards it.  you could probably set it to the tape if you are going to play setter.

  3. get a ball and practice bumping and setting against a wall.  do short ones, ones where the ball goes high, etc.  also you can take tape and make a square on a wall (about 12 inches on each side) and try to pass the ball into the middle of the square- like a target.

  4. Practice your bumping to make it more controlled. To do that, you can try setting or bumping into a basketball goal and try to make it in everytime. Also do 50 sets in a row a day. In your serve, toss is key. Practice tossing in front of you and be sure not to twist your body when you hit the ball. Focus all your energy forward. It doesnt really matter how strong you are, just your technique. Hope i helped!

  5. If you know someone from the  local highschool volleyball team ask them for help=]

  6. ask your coach what you can do on your own that would help your preformance.

  7. well most people are not good at volleyball there first years. i remember clearly my first year was hard but with effort im mastering the sport so if your having problems with serving u nderhand go against your wall and start real close to it then keep moving back while serving to it; if your having problems with overhand serving go against the wall and stand at least half court away and start spiking twords it remember to point your middle finger out to guide the ball C: then drills get the ball go against the wall and start setting to it like your holding a big hamaburger in a shape of a diamond then when the ball comes to you press up and out do that against the wall, and bumping all you can do is go against the wall and bump and square your feet(shoulders) it really helps. Just keep practacing and you will surely do well C:
