  1. you let the back row get it, thats why they are there.

  2. let the back get it. what my volleyball team did was duck a little and say out loud "yours!" so they know its theirs to get.

  3. it doesnt matter.

    whoever calls it.

and if you call it GO FOR IT!

    because thats your ball.

[and in volleyball it doesnt matter if your a ball hog.]

  4. i think it wuld be best if u let the back row get it.

but dont let the back row think u r getting it becuase then no one gets it at all.

  5. If you can get it, back up a little and yell "mine!"

If its over your head, yell "back!" So that the back row knows that you aren't going for it and its theirs!

  6. Do not get it- just open up a let the back person get it or yell "Back Back"

  7. if you can get it get it but mostly let the back get it

  8. Let the back get it ... that's their job but make sure you move AWAY from the ball and keep ur hands to ur sides so they wont think that youre trying to get the ball.. it makes it easier on the backrow players

  9. If you have a good shot at it, go for it. But if the back row can easily get it, then duck = )

  10. depends if the back person says mine or not, if the ball goes over your head and two seconds go by and you haven't heard anything, then turn around and get it, and let your team know about this so they know what they are doing and they can do it too.

  11. It's the backs responsibility. Your suppose to be in the front to set the ball and spike most of the time, not get it every time it goes behind you.

  12. You let the players behind u get it.  That's the only reason they're there.

  13. if it is over your head then the back row UNLESS you call it then you gotta get it!

  14. It doesn't matter as long as you call it. If you're taking it yell "I go!", if you're letting for them make sure you call "Through!" early enough to let them react to the ball.

  15. LET THE BACK ROW GET IT! Please, do NOT jump up and try to get a hand on it because you will not be able to. If you reach up, the back row will think that you have it and then when it tips off your fingers you will lose the point.

  16. if the ball is above your head, let the people behind you get it. if it's coming right at your head, you can set it instead of trying to bump it.

  17. it depends, hmm... well, when your in the setters area, there should a circle (for basketball) actually, its a half circle, the other half is on the other side of the net.  if the ball goes  1ft behind the circle, open up, and call "help" for the backrow to get it. if not call it and get it.

  18. Let the person behind you get it

  19. you can et it but if you decide not to get it say help and then it should indacate to the back row that you are not going to get it and it is there ball to get

  20. scoot up, closer to the net

    then yell

    "HELLPPPPPPPPPPPP, HELP HELP HELLLLLLPPPPP"

    yeah

  21. these people are all stupid what you should do is you should open up to the players in the backrow........and you people say you play volleyball....WORTHLESS

  22. I would say that if the ball is way (I mean waaaaaaayyyyyy) behind you then let the back row get it, but if it's easy to get to then you get it.

  23. If you go backwards to get the ball, you will be badly out of position for either an opportunity to spike or a return from the other team.  Always let the back line take a ball over your head.

  24. it is if the ball is going behind u and its not far  get it or if its far don't get it

  25. A general rule is that if the ball is higher than your shoulders, let it go without moving backward (you may move to the outside and get ready to hit).

You might want to cover a little more if the player behind you is not so good a passer.

  26. The best thing to do is pivot on one foot and open like a gate so that the player behind you knows that you're not going to try to play the ball. Don't make a move to the ball unless you intend to make a play on it. This is very confusing to the player behind you.

  27. You let the back row get it, and if your not sure who's ball it is, let them get it and call OPEN so they know it is theirs. Some advice is to hustle to every station and bring lots of water, you don't want to be dehydrated, thirsty, or have a dry throat. Good Luck and hope you do well! Hope I helped!

  28. if its within your reach, then call it, and OPEN UP to whichever way the ball is heading! if not, then make sure the back row player knows you're not getting it

  29. typically you would let the back get it unless it is close enough for you to back up and get.

  30. Well what we do is yell "I GO!!!" if you think it's your ball.  So if the person behind you yells "I Go!!!" then that's probably there ball.  Or you can call it.  But otherwise, it's their ball..

  31. u dive for it
