Volume automatically goes to maximum

Question

When I turn on my SONY KV27FV300 TV, the volume automatically goes to the maximum. It can be lowered using the doen volume button, but once the button is released, it goes back to the maximum.

The tv is not responding to the remote and will not allow the reset to factory settings. I unplugged for 2 days, problem still occurs.

Any ideas??
