Is it possible for a man to voluntarily produce androstenone?

Hi -

As far as scientists know, it is not possible for a man to produce the steriod Androstenone voluntarily, or to control the amount of it that he produces.

I hesitate to call it a pheromone because that's still the subject of some debate. While Androstenone is a proven pheromone in pigs, it has not been proven to have this role in humans (primarily because not all humans can smell it).
