Voluntary Radio Jockey?

would it benefit me to be a voluntary RJ if i want to be a real one in future?

Obviously i wont get paid but there is an opportunity for me to do it.

has anone done it before? is it fun?

  1. If you want to do this, then you will find out if it is fun.  Some one might not like it, but you might like it.  Trying new things is always fun, but for the long haul do you want to do it as a career, this will give you a chance to see.  have fun trying it.


  2. If you have the opportunity and you want to do it, then go for it. If people like what you do, then you'll know that you're doing something right, and there is a possibility that you could do it for pay later on. I've got a one hour weekly show on community radio here in Sydney, and it's a lot of fun. I don't know if I would want to do it for money, because then I would lose creative control. But then, if somebody walked up to me with a contract, I'd probably do it.
