Volunteer abroad with son?

Question

My husband and I want to volunteer abroad however, we have a one year old son we would love to take with us does anybody know of any programs that would allow this?

hmm it's possible.

what kind of volunteer work were you considering exactly?  If it's dangerous, then most will not allow it.  You also have to consider child care ... if you're in the middle of the jungle helping rebuild homes, your kid can't be running around in the area. I would leave him behind if I were you or do some extensive research to see how you can bring him along.
