is voluntteering at humane society fun and a good experience? any other volunteer ideas?

I voulnteer at the public library its great the other teen voulnteers as well as out suporvisor are really nice, plus we get free food and prizes for working, and we get to read to and make crafts with cute little kids, plus its easy and indoors during the hot summer.
