Volunteer programs?

Question

I would like to take a trip to a different country this spring to volunteer and get involved with the culture. I think it would be a very rewarding experience and I would be able to learn a lot about myself and the world. Thing is, I'll only be 15. Is there a program that will let me volunteer at this age for a few weeks abroad?

I would tell my parents first about this and allow them to guide you.

You don't want to get mixed up in some trouble overseas believe me.

Definately check with your church mission.

If you belong to a church, look at a mission program. I'm not sure most organizations would take someone overseas who is your age.

Check out the organization free the children.org or read the book Me into We , that may help you get some ideas what you can do.
