Volunteer relief work for Burma?

Can someone please tell me which government department I would call to enquire about volunteering to Burma for relief work?

Unicef are apparently allowed in the area, so perhaps you could contact them and see what is available. Also the UN seems to be in charge of the Relief Aid, so they may be another road you can go down. At the very least they should be able to point you in the right direction.

There are a number of Christian Aid Foundations involved too, but I didnt look too much into those though.
