Volunteer service?

Question

so i need volunteer hours. yay.

and i know what i'm gonna do. i plan to play piano (and my friend on vocals) at senior centers and hospitals and such, but i have a few questions on that matter.

do i get volunteer hours for this?

how can i find somewhere to do this?

do i need to do this through a volunteer group? as in am i supposed to find a volunteer service thing and theyll tell me where to go.

i live in the bay area, if that's needed.

Nursing homes or senior centers would love to hear from you.   Just contact the center yourself.  If you need verification, take along a type of time sheet where you can insert your hours and have someone from the center sign it as verification.  The senior center where my parents live do this all the time and the residence absolutely love it.

first i'll like to say its good you planing to play piano for a senior center and hospitals because it let colleges and people know that you are involved in your community. Yes you get a certain amount  of volunteer hour depending on your job which is (play piano for seniors) so u tell them from when to when. you can easily find volunteer service near you through online research. i think you do need them to guide you where to start and such when you are participating in volunteer service. search online for community service near bayside and see if what u hoping for appears there. i don't know where bayside is so........
