Volunteer trips to third world countries for teenagers?

- Involving the medical field or involving volunteering in a hospital.

- Not a christian mission trip.

- Something that's possible to save up for within a year. Less than 3,500(All expenses including airfare) preferred.

- Not in the Americas, but Asia, Africa, or Oceania.

- For teenagers at least 15

  1. Only a group like a Christian mission is likely to have the patience to deal with teenagers in a medical setting. The kids won't have much training or really be very useful so the chief purpose of their going would be educational. Some Christian groups see that as worth while, but the Red Cross, for example, doesn't have time/money for those who aren't trained and ready to work as soon as the plane lands.


  2. Contact the Red Cross.  If they do not have a program they can point you to a group that does.
