  1. There is a listing of the more-than-30 member organizations of the International Volunteers Program Association (IVPA) that is a good place to find reputable volunteer-for-a-fee programs -- programs where you don't need to have much experience in order to participate, and the placements are just for a few weeks or months:

Religious affiliation does NOT, in any way, better ensure safety than a non-religiously-affiliated organization.

  2. Hi! well i know of a great place that you can volunteer at that is easy, comes with rewars, really helps youth at risk and teens (just like you if your a teenager) and can be mostly done online. There is a online part of the program and physically helping. I think this is a great oppertunity for anyone who want to help. Now i know there is little informtion about the organization but if you emial me at

    im_charisse@msn.com

i will give you ALL the information you need!

  3. How about a local hospital? Their always are always looking for volunteers..

  4. As far as religious orgs, I have only worked with Habitat internationally, but it was OK, just too expensive and religious for my tastes....

However, I currently work for kidsworldwide.org it is very cheap and you can choose what you do while you're there...and lots of young people are around.
