Volunteer work for the summer holidays?

i would really like to volunteer over the summer holidays, but i'm not sure what i would be allowed to do. i'm 14, any ideas?

anything with collecting money you have to be 18, generally hospials wont take you on until you are 17.

try something like guide. a blind and/or deaf organisation might need people

but you will find most places wont take a 14 year old.

If you are in high school Key club usually has volunteer opportunities.  Also once you're 16 you can volunteer at animal shelters usually.  I usually volunteer at schools, so in the summer you could volunteer at a year round public school that's open during the summer

I volunteered at the downtown pet shop and got 10 dollars an hour

I wanted to do that too, but i couldnt find anyone who does it or where i could volunteer.

I wanted to to fundraising charity in supermarkets and help people pack their bags and then they put money in a bucket for helping.

some people call it backpacking.
