Volunteer work for tweens?

Okay.. im between like 12 and 14 soooo is there anything in the nassau county area for volunteering ... do u have personal experience or links??? PLZZ HELP!

You can call your local Red Cross, Kiwanis, or Rotary club and ask if they need any help.

Also Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, etc. usually have service projects going on.

You're a little young to do some of the more generic volunteering I would normally suggest, but definitely contact your local clubs (as mentioned above) or even call your Chamber of Commerce and ask them what volunteer organizations are in your area.

We paid a 13 year old to check on our 88 year old aunt.  All she had to do was knock on the door.  If no one answered, she would call us.  We paid $250 per month.  Later she checked to see if there was food in the frig and we paid her more. Find an old person and the family will thank you for your help. /
