Volunteering as a big brother question(s)?

Hey. so i've been thinking about this for a while but have a few questions and i hope someone who is either a big brother or big sister themselves can answer them.

So i'd love to do this but was wondering how old the kids are because tbh i tend to like toddlers (5-7 years old) more than teens as i'm only 19 myself so it might be hard for like a 13,14 year old to really.. i dont know, look up to me and all.. also how much time do you normally spend with your little brother and last question, i'm a guy so that does mean i can only have a little brother or can i get a little sister??

You should probably get a little brother. They bond much easier. I have 4 younger step brothers, and they all look up to me.You have to spend alot of time withthem. Wrestle a little. little.Watch t.v. with them. Make them snacks. Do those and they'll miss you when you're gone.

hey i have a 5 year old brother, 9 year old brother, 11 year old sister, 12 year old sister and a 15 year old brother. im going on 17. im closer to my younger brothers so i suppose you shoud go for the younger ones. i would go for same gender so you can be closer to them.
