  1. You will not able to find a volunteering job at walgreens as pharmacy stores like walgreen due to liability issues don't entertain volunteers. Still you can work at a hospital, and that can provide you with requisite experience that yu can later on apply in your pharmacy work.

  2. oh wow the other day i called and asked and they said something similar. But now i'm volunteering at clinics and hospitals.

  3. Walgreens doesn't have a volunteer program, and you have to be 16 to work there. Also, depending on state laws, you may have to go through a training program to even be behind the pharmacy counter. Besides, there's no volunteer training needed to get into pharmacy school or to become a pharmacist, as long as you have the brains (and the $$$), you'll get in and do great! If you start out your career WORKING at Walgreens though, they'll pay for your training to become a certified pharmacy technician. From there you can go to pharmacy school (which they, unfortunately, will not pay for), do your internship there, and then be employed by them as a pharmacist with no gap in employment (I know it's a long ways off for you, but never too soon to start thinking about retirement and 401Ks--all that fun financial stuff!)
