Volunteering info!?

I am 15 years old and would like to begin volunteering in my community. Where are the places that I should call or contact? Any information is greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!

At 15 I volunteered in a local nursing home visiting with people who didn't have family members who visited them. I also worked with the kindergarten group at my local church. It all depends on what you would like to do, but there is always a need for volunteers.

Contact churches that have outrech programs or churches that are  active in the community you live in. United Way is another source you can check into. Americorps takes on youth as volenteers.
